1. Our Core Privacy Philosophy

At Search3D, we believe your 3D models, CAD geometry, and proprietary manufacturing designs are strictly yours. We do not inspect, train AI models on, or sell your 3D models or personal information to third parties.

2. Air-Gapped Local Mode & Zero Model Telemetry

When using Search3D in Local Free mode, all indexing, thumbnail rendering, and image-search analysis happen 100% locally on your machine. We enforce zero model telemetry: your 3D files, CAD geometry, part names, tags, and search queries never leave your computer.

3. Cloud Sync & Data Storage

If you activate Search3D Cloud, your files are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and at rest. Your files are stored and processed in the United States to generate thumbnails and search data. They are accessible only to members of your team and to people you send a share link to.

4. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, work email address, and billing details provided during subscription signup.
• Operational Diagnostics: Anonymized error and crash reports to help us identify and fix software bugs. Diagnostic payloads are aggressively scrubbed—user paths, account names, file names, and queries are stripped before transmission. Error reporting can be disabled at any time in application Settings.
• Newsletter: If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address with our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, and use it only to send Search3D news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Support Communications: Messages sent via our contact desk or feedback portal.

5. Your Rights & Data Portability

You maintain full data sovereignty. You may download your stored 3D assets and any of their versions at any time, or request complete account deletion by contacting us at [email protected].
